Currently over 5.4 million people have asthma in the UK alone – that’s 1 in 5 households that are affected.

With 250,000 deaths per year attributed to the disease worldwide, asthma is a real and common threat to an individual’s health and quality of life.

In this week’s Jing TV episode, dedicated bodyworkers and Directors of Jing Advanced Massage Training, Rachel Fairweather and Meghan Mari, talk through creating space for asthma sufferers through the ribs, thorax and abdomen.

Consider soft tissue structures, feel your own diaphragm and learn about the specific work you can do confidently as a therapist to improve your client’s condition.

Asthma doesn’t have to be debilitating; make a difference today!
