In 1965 the singer Dionne Warwick released a song whose lyrics arguable encapsulated the most important thing we and our world need to survive: What the world needs now is love, sweet love… In February 2023, world-renowned Hungarian philosopher of systems science and futures studies, and two-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee, Ervin Laszlo launched the World Upshift Forum at the House of Lords in London. A part of the World Upshift Movement, which is not a thing, but rather a message or vibration, the World Upshift Movement and Forum brings people and organisations together for one purpose – to catalyse an upshift in humanity through the power of love.
ROGER CASALE is the co-founder with Ervin Laszlo, Maria Antinori, Master Sha, Deepak Chopra, Justina Mutale, Lady Mohini and others of the World Upshift Forum. An award-winning European civil rights activist and former British Member of Parliament, he is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and Commander of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Italy. Roger Casale joins Sandie this week to share the aims and objectives of the World Upshift Movement and Forum, including creating a space for safe conversations about science, spirituality and society, and shared values can ask questions, forge new collaborations, connect with people across borders and boundaries, and take action to bring about positive and sustainable change in the world, fuelled by the power of love.
