Welcome to What Supp with MY bloodwork ?! The podcast where margarine ISN'T a food, and aspirin is NOT a vitamin! I am your host, Dr. Kathy Yuhasz, Chiropractor and science-based nutrition practitioner for over 20 years, and I'm thrilled to take you on this journey of decoding health and wellness. In each episode, we are here to strip away the guesswork, exploring how getting the correct testing can lead to informed decision-making regarding health and wellness.Hey there, my savvy supplement warriors! They're kinda like the supporting actors in a movie – not the stars, but important for keeping things consistent. And then we've got binders. Think of them as the glue that holds everything together, literally! They make sure your pills don't fall apart before they even make it to your mouth. (in that case, we could just put it in a smoothie!) Identifying and decoding these behind-the-scenes players, exploring any potential health concerns, how they are processed, and shedding light on how they're regulated is our focus today. And Because hey, when it comes to what we put in our bodies, knowledge is power So, let's get ready to uncover the secrets lurking inside those supplement bottles! After the last two episodes, we have all had time reflecting on the information we gathered and how it is probably not a great idea to put 100% of trust in what is “safe”,
