Wieder einmal Aufnehmen unter erschwerten Bedingungen. Daniel lässt mich kaum zu Wort kommen, im Hintergrund schreit sein Sohn voller Entzückung beim Spielen und wir haben im Vorfeld schon etwas probiert.

Bei Bruichladdich hebt man das Thema Rauch auf eine ganz neue Ebene.
Mit Unterstützung durch Bairds Malt in Inverness wird in einem speziellen Verfahren die branchenübliche Konzentration an Rauch im Gerstenmalz schamlos übertrieben.
Ich mag ja sowas.
Heute geht es um den Octomore 07.3 aus Islay Gerste mit strammen 169ppm. Er durfte in Ex Bourbon und Ex-Rotwein Fässern (Spanien/Ribera del Duero) reifen.
