This is another personally meaningful episode to me this week, as I sit down with my longtime friend Matthew Weiner, President of his own Insurance Agency, The Weiner Group.

But he wasn't always head of his own company! We uncover his full journey in this episode, from battling the fear of what it means to "grow up" to finding financial freedom by taking his own path.

From at one point in time being 2 weirdo "scene kids" who's lives revolved around the music industry, to now, 2 weirdo adults who work for themselves, Matthew and I had a lot of catching up to do! While we've stayed in relative contact since being teenagers, there's a lot of Matthew's entrepreneurial journey that I only saw play out online, and there's a LOT more to it.

This is easily one of my new favorite episodes as Matthew's very honest and straight forward storytelling sheds a lot of light on how he went from being in literal tears due to not wanting to "grow up", to working for others and realizing he wasn't happy, to having $0 in his account with kids on the way, to then carving is own path, starting his own life insurance agency and being able to purchase his actual dream car.
