Tom Daley is the most successful British diver ever – winning 4 Olympic medals throughout the course of his career – finally winning that elusive gold in Tokyo in 2021.

This is Tom’s first podcast interview since returning to diving and in it he talks about what drove him to return to the sport after a two year break.

We also discuss how alongside Tom’s huge successes, Tom has navigated numerous adversities throughout his life including the tragic death of his father from cancer when Tom was just 17 years old, facing bullying at school and challenges with his sexuality. Tom explains how he feels these difficulties have helped shape him into the resilient and high performing individual he is today, how becoming a father changed his perspective, as well as the importance of self-belief and mindfulness.

Outside of the pool, Tom has achieved national treasure status - he is a TV personality, has his own podcast ‘Made with Love’, is famous for his knitting – which apparently was responsible for a surge in popularity of the hobby, he is a powerful LGBTQ+ advocate, fashion icon, Husband and father of two.
