The Importance of Understanding Your Judge’s Nuances - Before You Meet. The information in this series and on PPRSUS.com (and PPRSUS Resources) is readily accessible and completely Free to all. Should you wish to engage my services, my contact information is at the end.

INDICTED AND FACING PRISON: NOW WHAT. My name is Marc Blatstein. In 2006, I, too, was Indicted and convicted of a felony and lost my medical license. To call this a life-altering event, at best, was an understatement, as medicine and surgery were all I knew. With work, I got my license reinstated, and for that, I was grateful.

· The Lesson: Prison is Temporary.
My goal in this series is to provide you with the information you’ll need to survive and navigate these times. Knowledge and Preparation will help build back the Confidence you’ll need throughout this process.

· Since you’ve heard that the DOJ and Feds have been asking questions, their case against you is mostly complete, with a 98% Conviction Rate.

· Delay acting now is at your peril.

· Hiring a legal team doesn’t just mean they have experience; they also need a proven track record of successfully defending cases like yours.

· The choices you make today - will help you tomorrow.
Whether you're facing a plea or a trial, you need all the help you can get to navigate the intricate nuances of Your Judge's court.

· That's where a Federal Defender’s assistance comes in, should you not be intimately familiar with your judge’s likes and dislikes. They can offer invaluable guidance that increases your chances of success.

· Another crucial aspect to consider is the judge's preferences, which can make or break your case.

· Again, a federal defender can help you understand whether this judge reads sentencing memos (how long is too long?) and character letters (is there a current amount that isn’t too much?) and whether they will allow the person writing the letter also to speak.

· What do they think of a Video or printed Narrative (or both)

· Knowing this specific information regarding the judge's likes and dislikes can also be a game-changer.
However, that's not all.

· External factors like BOP overcrowding or staff shortages can also affect the availability of necessary programs and medical services that can impact your client's future.

· That's why learning your judges’ feelings on these issues is crucial. As I am writing this, I have a client who surrendered to a Satellite Camp where the BOP stated there was RDAP, only for the person to learn that the RDAP program had been closed due to a lack of staff.

· By taking the time to understand the judge's preferences and external factors that may affect the case, you can position yourself for success and achieve the best possible outcome.

· A local Federal Defender is an excellent resource for you and your team to learn your judge's preferences.
