Lisa is the Co-Founder and Owner of FIT House Davis. After almost a decade in marketing and public relations, Lisa followed her passion, took the leap and opened a full-service boutique fitness studio which employs 28+ people and offers a large variety of classes per week. Lisa spends her days managing the business alongside her partners, training her clients and teaching group fitness classes. Lisa truly loves what she does and often calls it "movement therapy." Helping folks get their body and their mind right.

Lisa believes in making Self-Care and Exercise a Priority — Lisa says "Prioritizing self-care is not a selfish act. It means you are being mindful of your own needs ,enabling you to better care for others. I am the mom of four children and I know that my early morning runs help me focus on daily tasks and the needs of my family. Without the release that happens when I exercise, I would be overly stressed, less patient and I would have less energy to give to the people who need me most. As a trainer, I encourage clients to write down acts that fill their cups up and do 1–2 of these daily. Whether it’s a run, massage, meditation or a walk with a friend, self-care is essential for overall well-being."

Lisa is also an Amazon best selling author of Your Amazing Itty Bitty Grief Book: 15 Chapters on how to support family and friends on their journey.
