In this episode, I discuss the challenges and opportunities brought by changes in life, Because life is always a balance of positives and negatives (50/50), how we think about our circumstances greatly influences our experience.

I encourage you to recognize that you do have choices, even if they might not always seem ideal. Feeling stuck or overwhelmed often results from a "thought error" where we trick ourselves into believing we have no options, leading to feelings of frustration and resentment.

I ask you to answer this honestly: "How much time do you spend in "BS mode" (Blame and Shame)?" where you either blame yourself or others and feel powerless.
Instead, I invite you to bring in some curiosity by asking, "What are my options?" This question opens up creativity and helps us see possibilities rather than limitations.

I provide practical strategies for managing responsibilities, such as creating flexible schedules, outsourcing tasks , and establishing a routine that works for everyone.
I also stress the importance of self-compassion during times of stress and change. It's ok for our brains to feel scared about new situations, but we can use our prefrontal cortex to plan and reassure ourselves.

And I remind you of the comparison trap, particularly with the curated perfection seen on social media. Instead, I challenge you to define your own version of success and what feels good and manageable for you.

Another key principle I share is to aim for "B-minus work" rather than perfection. This concept, inspired by Brooke Castillo, is about recognizing that doing a good job (80%) is often sufficient and trying to achieve the last 20% of perfection can be disproportionately draining. Simplifying and balancing efforts across different areas of life can prevent feelings of being stuck and overwhelmed.

In conclusion, I encourage you to make life easier by defining your own standards of success and balance. Embrace what feels natural and easy without guilt or comparison. Understand that while pushing through discomfort can be beneficial, it's equally important to simplify and streamline where possible to maintain overall well-being.
