Ultra-violent science fiction classic ROBOCOP (1987) gets discussed today as Trev is joined by yet another friend, Stan, who recommended this movie as its one of his favourites. Good job we hadn't done it already, which is surprising because its one of my favourites too.
Starring Paul Weller, Nancy Allen, Kurtwood Smith, Miguelle Ferrer and Ronnie Cox - Robocop tells the story of Murphy, a cop in crime ridden Detroit who is killed by a gang of career criminals before being picked up by OCP who incorporate him into their latest crime prevention unit - the future of law enforcement - Robocop - part man, part machine, all cop.
