The Competence-Confidence Loop is another of the nonsense ideas that we often hear and accept as fact, such as Best Practices, There’s No “I” in team, and A team is only as strong as it’s weakest link.

But as with all these useless notions, when you take a look at it from a different perspective, you can see that there’s usually a better way to look at things that is much more useful.
