We discuss the creative freedom of this Australian co-production, its use of fanfic tropes, and the ways in which its sweeping love story challenged the very 90’s idea of the UST slow burn. Plus: the time Vera tricked Cate Blanchett into discussing Farscape and other early fandom adventures.
