Do you ever feel like the holidays are more about stress than celebration? I know exactly what that feels like. But what if I told you there's a way to help your brain and body manage that stress, anxiety, and overwhelm?

In the episode, I discuss how to manage holiday stress.

It’s important to realize that the holidays ARE overwhelming. We get to be realistic with ourselves and have REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS during this time. The to-do list gets so much around the holidays. And not only are we expected to do more work, but also have a cheerful spirit the entire time! Let's be realistic! It's the first step to handling it better.
We have to understand we need a different kind of energy and effort during these times. It's about setting realistic goals so we can prevent ourselves from going down the overwhelming hole.
I also dive into how I have dealt with my birthday being on Christmas Eve and all the mental drama that has created for me. Having my birthday on Christmas Eve has taught me a lot, including how to limit my stress and anxiety.
I teach you the exact tools I have used for years to limit my stress, create realistic expectations, and proactively thrive during this crazy time of the year.
In this episode you'll learn:

  • Why it's important to handle stress early and adjust your expectations during this time.
  • How to plan ahead, not just for the food and decorations, but also for your Mental Health.
  • Ways to protect yourself from stress, like deciding how much to drink or choosing who to invite.
  • How to be proactive with your Mental Health and Plan of Action.
  • Creating and sticking to boundaries.
  • Talking through a Plan of Action if things get tough, and asking for help.
  • How to enjoy yourself even through the chaos.

Remember, your energy is more precious during the holiday season. Be mindful of that.
