Charles: "I went septic and I was septic for over 40 hours, and I should've died. They put me on a drug-induced coma in which I had an out-of-body experience and I looked down on my own body. And I remember it. I looked down and there was some people praying for me around my bedside."
Charles: "We should've practiced our tire changes a little bit more but it took us about 15 minutes and people are running all around. And Chad, while we're there, a Marine convoy goes past us and a mile down the road, their front vehicle gets bitten half by a roadside bomb. They lose all the guys in their front vehicle."
Charles: "It's the best ride you'll ever have is riding the wave of the Lord. You'll do everything in your life that doesn't make sense, but you'll do it because that's where you're supposed to be. And it's an exhilarating ride. The Lord's wave is funner than any other wave."
