Extremely controversial in it's day (for legitimate reasons), somewhat middling today; this week we bring you the movie that began William "Hurricane Billy" Friedkin's hate affair with Al Pacino, Cruising (1980).
We talk about how to look at looking, the intrinsic biases therein, and transgression vs oppression and repression in a capitalist, white supremacist society.
