For years, many in the national dance community have frowned upon dancing in socks. Though as contemporary dance has established itself as a major movement in our art form, dancers are having to embrace what was always considered a normal part of our every-day wardrobe. Listen in to this week’s episode as Barry discusses his evolution with socks and why he thinks some in the field are resistant to their presence.

Pas de Chát's host Barry Kerollis is an award-winning choreographer, instructor, and dancer with over 13 years experience in the dance world. His career includes directing Alaska Dance Theatre, dancing for Pacific Northwest Ballet, and traveling the country as a nationally-touring freelance artist. He also runs the popular blog, Life of a Freelance Dancer.
