An American, a Canadian and a Brit walk into a bar. But this isn’t a bad joke, this is the Ladies of Valhalla.
In their twenty-fourth episode, the Ladies take an in-depth look at the 2020 Netflix original movie To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before: PS I Still Love You, starring Lana Condor, Noah Centineo, Jordan Fisher and John Corbett.
Next month that will be looking at the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer, and The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins.
Ladies of Valhalla is hosted by Sarah Miles, Bronwyn Kelly-Seigh and Jessica Garris-Schaeffer, and is a monthly look at media from female-identifying creators, or featuring female-identifying characters. During this episode, Sarah uses the term “gypsy” to refer to a specific group of people. Whilst this is considered an ethnic slur in the United States and Canada, it is an accepted legal term within the United Kingdom, along with “traveling show people”. We would like to apologize for any offense that is caused by the use of this term, and wanted to explain why it was used.
