Tove Chevalley - Innovation Director at the Electrolux Global Hub in Stockholm (Sweden) is the latest guest on the Nordic Future Makers podcast. Now recording with Zencastr for improved audio quality, Tove joined me to talk about how she approaches innovation in her current role. We also spent a little bit of time talking about Tove's previous position at Adidas and some of the other things she has been doing too.

Tove and I discuss:

  • Current role and responsibilities
  • 'Hacking the crisis' - a 4 step process that can be followed to maintain innovation and generate new ideas
  • Tools for innovation
  • Working to a higher purpose and driving sustainability and better living
  • Partnering with others to deliver innovation around core values
  • Changing approaches to food and behaviour
  • Brand experience and thinking about how you make customers feel
  • Getting your voice heard in your organisation in a way that stakeholders can relate to
  • How to gain confidence in public speaking
  • Heading towards a post-crisis society where people care for each other a bit more than they did before

There's some great thinking in this podcast and I hope Tove gives you some new ideas and inspires you to experiment and test new things. It was also insightful to hear about how Tove learnt how to become a great public speaker too!

Tove is a perfect example of a Nordic Future Maker and I'm really pleased that she was able to spend time talking to me for this episode. I hope you enjoy the podcast, I hope you subscribe to the podcast and I hope you listen again - in the future!
