As the new year begins and the holiday season comes to an end, many people abandon the focus on gratitude they had during the holidays, but being grateful is important all year, and can even potentially have some health benefits. Focusing on what you have instead of what you are lacking can be a great way to improve your mood and general outlook on life, as well as decrease stress levels. Lower stress levels may lead to a lower risk of stroke and heart attacks, along with many other potential health benefits.
