Molly Goodman is a coach who guides women into the gray area so they can abandon diet culture and perfectionism and stop abandoning themselves. She’s an advocate of learning to trust yourself and your body — the exact opposite of what diet culture tries to teach us. Like how plus-sized clothes are not only separated from others, but they’re harder to find, more expensive, and have less selection. Diet culture constantly tells us that we are not worth it, but we are ALL worth it. And guess what: We ALL need to wear pants (We’re still fighting this one, though). She talks about her journey to trusting herself, learning to accept her body, the lessons gained when we stop numbing out of the hard stuff, and just how much bigger your life gets when you stop trying to force your body to be smaller.
