CUSP, a new SHOWTIME feature documentary is a captivating snapshot of girlhood, a coming-of-age story about the intimate passage of girls on the cusp of becoming women as three spirited girls find their voice while grappling with the often dark, traumatic realities of female adolescence.

On a very special episode of the CherryPop podcast, Cusp filmmakers, Parker Hill and Isabel Bethencourt join Meg to discuss the heartbreaking realities of what it means to be a teenage girl today and the ever-present threat of sexual objectification and assault that looms large. Later on, Autumn (one the teens featured in the film) joins the conversation, expressing her hope for young women to feel safer to say “no” after watching her personal journey on screen.
