HIGHLIGHTS

  • Living the qualities of a good person who helps others
  • The first day in prison was formative in humility
  • Meeting Pastor Rod and learning not to take blessings for granted
  • Sharing the word of God and showing acts of kindness

QUOTES

Jarvis: "My mom, she would give me $20 a week. That was my commissary. $20 is a lot of money in prison. I was eating. I was eating very well. But each of my bunkies and and my roommates, they were poor. They had nobody writing them letters, they would get no mail, no commissary, and that's really turned my heart seeing how fortunate I was."

Jarvis: "Going to prison, I got my vision. So a vision keeps you disciplined. That's the short version. The Bible says that people perish because of lack of vision, a lack of knowledge, so I stepped into that, which is so amazing."
