What we need to understand is that everyone's "hard" is different. An athlete is not defined by how long, tough, or physically demanding their pursuits are. What's required to commit to the pursuit itself, no matter the length, speed, or how tough something is; that's what's hard!

The new hard is as follows:

1 - Commitment to yourself, your goals, and your full potential.

2 - The mindset required to understand that motivation is fleeting, but discipline is what will get you to your goal.

3 - Consistency over long periods of time accomplished by building the habits necessary to stick with it.
