Most everyone has experienced a fleeting feeling of loneliness on occasion.
Transient loneliness is a short-term, fleeting feeling of loneliness.
Chronic loneliness is generally correlated with negative effects.
The holidays are a lonely time of year for many.
Perhaps this is due to a lack of connection, distress, relationship quality, FOMO on social media, and so much more.
This episode examines the impact of emotional loneliness and what to do next.
Recognize your feelings and plan ahead to combat your loneliness.
Try to connect to a friend or family member at least once/day.
Reach out for therapeutic intervention to help establish new connections to people or what you enjoy doing.
