ALERT: FORMER NBA PLAYER AND COACH, currently coaching after his illustrious and lengthy career in NBA player AND coaching roles.
Join me as I interview my guest, former Head Coach of the Detroit Pistons and Florida Atlantic University, Coach Michael Curry, grilling him not only about his career but what it takes to be a winner at any game, even YOURS.
Michael and me for this pivotal interview where you will learn things about being healthy and in shape from one of the best-trained players and coaches with some pretty impressive stats in his lengthy career.
Michael Curry made an impact in Nashville, helping the Commodores secure an NIT bid, the first postseason appearance since 2016-17. He played both for the NBA and overseas.
He was Assistant Head Coach with the Detroit Pistons for 1 season, after which he was promoted, at age 40, to be one of the youngest head coaches in history. He went on to serve as the Associate Head Coach for the 76ers from 2010-2013.
He was named Head Coach of Florida Atlantic in 2014 and guided them to a win for the first time against a Big 10 opponent, 79-77 over Ohio State.
He spent 6 of his 11 seasons with the Detroit Pistons, including 33 playoff games and a trip to the Eastern Conference finals.
He also had stints with the Pacers, Raptors, Bucs, Bullets, 76ers, and Kings. In 667 career NBA games, he totaled nearly 3000 points, 1000 rebounds, 800 assists and 333 steals.
He also played overseas in France, Spain, Italy, Belgium and Germany.
