Welcome, dear listeners, to a special episode of the QLPOR poetry podcast. Tonight, we gather together to honor and remember the lives impacted by the tragic events of September 11th. In commemoration of this day, we have invited poets, singers and musicians from far and wide to share their heartfelt reflections through the power of spoken word. Throughout this episode, we'll be featuring a collection of poignant poems, each carrying its own unique message of hope, resilience, and unity. As we listen to these beautiful words, let us remember and pay tribute to the strength and resilience of the human spirit. Some poets will be calling in live, sharing their verses directly with us. Additionally, we will broadcast other poets reading their poems via MP3 audio files, obtain from Creative Commons archives, enabling us to broadcast them in their own voices. So, find a comfortable spot, take a deep breath, and immerse yourself in the power of words and music. Let it be a reminder that even in the face of darkness, we can find peace, hope and solace.
