Moira Newiss

Moira Newiss specialises in helping men and women suffering with chronic fatigue conditions like ME/CFS, long covid and fibromyalgia to regain their energy through a combination of nutrition and other lifestyle changes. She passionately believes that chronic fatigue is not necessarily for life, and she herself has fully recovered as has her son who also had chronic fatigue.

During her training Moira became fascinated by mitochondria and how they control energy production and metabolic function and in turn how a ketogenic diet can make them work more effectively producing less inflammation and more ATP, our energy fuel.

Moira uses a food first approach to make sure you are nourishing your body as much as possible. She will also support you to make changes in other aspects of your life such as sleep, stress, time spent outdoors, chemicals you might be exposed to as well as supporting relaxation and joy in your life.

Moira finds that this holistic approach provides the best results, layering up small changes until you get a significant change in how you feel. She can support you to help understand what might have gone wrong with your energy production and how to reboot it to get your energy back and your life on track again.

Moira has used a variety of ketogenic approaches in her work including a paleoketo and carnivore keto approach. She has recently become interested in how autoimmune conditions can be reversed by an animal based ketogenic diet and has recently successfully reversed her own thyroid autoimmune problem that she developed after a viral illness.
