The Language of Lenormand with Erika Robinson Lenormand is a 36 card system of divining. The Lenormand images are essentially archetypal, and reminiscent of the symbols read in tea leaves or coffee grounds for hundreds of years. Lenormand is direct, concise, and clear in its answers, so long as the questions asked of it are also this way. Although they are indeed pictures on cardboard, Lenormand is in fact a word system, with a grammar structure and a narrative flow. Lenormand can accurately answer yes or no questions, but in the right hands, Lenormand can craft stories that guide, uplift, and encourage. Harvard educated, and with a Masters of Divinity degree, Erika studied Lenormand as she might study anything: Erika read and wrote and memorized and practiced; but Lenormand taught her that when the “bearing down” part of learning is done, the next level of understanding is arrived at with a “letting go,” a willingness to see with an internal gaze.
