Your mind is the most powerful tool on the planet. Yet, if you're like most people, you probably spend very little time reflecting on how you think. After all, who thinks about thinking? But the way you think influences your emotions, which influence your actions (or lack of actions) which give you your results. If you don't learn to manage your thinking, you let default thoughts run the show and limit your potential.

In this episode I unpack this truth and give you the tools to manage your thoughts. I begin by establishing that circumstances are inherently neutral, and that it’s our thoughts about them that are charged and colour our experiences. We think the same deeply entrenched thoughts over and over again because we formed them when we were young and impressionable. The problem arises when these thought patterns are disempowering: so I spend time equipping you with knowledge of how the brain works (illustrating the primary motivations of pleasure, pain avoidance and energy conservation) and then give you the “Thought Download” tool to help you reprogram your thoughts.
