- About Sonoma County
- For every acre of wine grapes in the county, there are two acres of other diversified ag (apple trees, dairies, cut flowers, and produce)
- 6% of Sonoma County’s 1 million acres are planted to wine grapes (60k acres)
- 99% of sonoma county's vineyard acres are certified sustainable
- 1,800 winegrowers call sonoma county home
- 80% of the county’s vineyards are <100 acres and 40% are <20 acres
- The association has a focus of Sustainability, why?
- 2014: commitment to come the most sustainable winegrowing region in the world
- Sonoma County Sustainable Wine App Tells the stories of the wine growing families - from the label of the bottle
- Climate Adaptation Certification
