What got me on this leadership path. I've always wondered how one becomes a leader. Is it something you're born with or do you choose it? At just twelve years old, I discovered my innate desire to inspire and uplift others living in an abusive spiritual community. From that young age, I wanted to be a guide, someone who could lift people up.

However, as life progressed, I faced numerous challenges and ended up totally lost in my late twenties. Eventually, I turned to self-destructive behavior. It wasn't until a friend pointed out something profound - I could turn on the sun to inspire and uplift, but I could also bring the whole room down if I wasn't in the right place.

As a result of this realization, my mindset changed. After reading books, attending seminars, and understanding the power of my thoughts, I started exploring personal development. It also helped me to understand how people around me influence me. But my initial approach to leadership was inauthentic - I had to put on a positive face and hide my struggles.

After some deep introspection and life-changing events, I've finally embraced my role as a leader. To me, true leadership means doing the work, acknowledging my emotions, and taking care of myself so I can be the healthiest version of myself.

Leaders need to take care of themselves. I stay inspired and energetic when I'm hydrated. Being a great leader requires hydration. Here's my favorite way to stay hydrated and feel good.

Grab your favorite cup of tea and let's dive in.
