We're putting our ruby slippers back on and heading back to the yellow brick road this week as we review Disney's 1985 movie, 'Return to Oz'. Billed as a semi-sequel to the classic musical, this film takes a much darker approach to the world of L. Frank Baum's book series. We see Dorothy, now an inmate awaiting electrotherapy, travel back to a much more twisted Oz than she remembers, a lot more reminiscent of Jim Henson's Labyrinth than the world she first visited. Listen in as we unpack all the new lore this movie offers, and talk about how many kids this movie scared when it first came out!
