In this episode of The I in Us Paul and Little Jase welcome singer-songwriter-songstress Max Aurora.
Hailing from Ngunnawal / Ngambri (Canberra) Country and now residing in Naarm (Melbourne) Max migrated to the big smoke a few years ago to pursue their music interests.
Max is an intersex / non-binary / transgender person who loves being a part of the intersex and trans communities and is driven to tell their intersex / trans story through music and social media. They also study Music Therapy and do regular gigs around Melbourne with their indie rock band, Max Aurora & The Southern Lights. Max creates heart-gripping songs that treat emotions with care and curiosity.
Paul and Little Jase talk to Max about being intersex, their intersex variation, their identity, and how creativity and music have been a vehicle to explore, express, and share their lived experience.
The I In Us is presented by Paul Byrne-Moroney and Jason Turner each Wednesday Night at 7
