Heart rate variability, or HRV, is a really fun data point to track. Unlike our weight or lab values, it responds to changes we make very quickly. We can use it to determine whether something is good for us and what isn’t. It helps us eliminate the bad, which makes us feel more energized and healthy.

On this episode of the FLO into Health podcast, I talk about:

  • What HRV is and how we can use it
  • Why people with a menstrual cycle can’t rely on apps to let us know when we are stressed out
  • How to look at your HRV across your menstrual cycle to calculate a baseline for you - You can find more information in the FREE CHI Method Mini-Course

I’d love to hear from you! If you have any questions or have ideas for a future episode, please get in touch with ruth@flointohealth.com
