I know I talk *a lot* about loneliness. If you’re single, we know it’s a risk factor, and that makes sense - you don’t have that person to go home to, you can be left out of invites from your coupled up friends who “didn’t think you’d want to be invited” and you can feel that sense of not being a priority to anyone…
But I always want to emphasise that getting into a relationship doesn’t take that sense of loneliness away at times, of not feeling involved, not belonging… and here’s a very personal share of how that still exists in coupled up life.
