We all struggle with negative self-image at times. But did you know a staggering 80% of women (and likely more today) experience body shaming – both from external pressures and their own inner critic?
This episode dives deep into the impact of body shaming on all aspects of our lives, including:

  • Personal Relationships: You might become preoccupied with body image, sacrifice quality time, refuse to do certain activities and isolate yourself.
  • Romantic Relationships: If you're feeling bad about your body, you might create distance between you and your mate.
  • Workplace Success: Confidence is attractive in the workplace and physical insecurities can erode your confidence.
  • Self-care, Health and Wellness: If you don’t feel good about yourself, it is very hard to walk into a gym or be motivated to get in better shape and condition.
  • Finances: How much money do you spend on the pursuit of a better body, hair, makeup, clothes? Could that money be used on something more rewarding? Or does that investment solve the problem?
  • Home: You may see evidence of a poor self-image reflected in your home and environment. Clutter builds up or neglecting your house repairs might be a mirror for your own self-care. In this episode, we talk about our bodies as our home.
