In this episode of "Minds On Mushrooms", we’re joined by Cameron Taylor from Big Psych, a leading psychedelic organization in Minneapolis. Cameron shares insights about the upcoming documentary "A Table of Our Own", which is set to make waves in Minneapolis, showing Friday, August 15th at the Capri Theater in North Minneapolis.

We also dive into the details of the third annual Big Psych Psychedelic Symposium, an event that’s becoming a cornerstone for the psychedelic community, which is being held in Uptown, August 17th-18th, 2024.

Cameron and I explore the evolving landscape of psychedelic medicine in Minnesota, highlighting the Psychedelic Medicine Task Force organized by Governor Walz—to advise the legislature on the legal, medical, and policy issues associated with the legalization of psychedelic medicine in the state. Big Psych also worked directly with Mayor Frey to author the executive order which deprioritizes enforcement of entheogenic plants in Minneapolis.

Tune in to learn about the strides being made in psychedelic advocacy and what it means for the future of medicine in Minnesota.
