As an intentional strategy, Lindsey makes decisions in advance as to what habits she wants to engage in and then prepares in advance to set herself up for success limiting opportunities for her mind and emotions to get in the way of engaging in the healthy habits she has in mind. New habits become second nature as we practice them setting us up for “Habit Stacking” which James Clear speaks to in his book, Atomic Habits.
