This episode was very much devoted to children with Type I Diabetes. Lynn Wexler served as co-host of this week’s program. Lynn is the Southern Nevada Marketing and Development Director of the Nevada and California Diabetes Association.
Not pictured, but joining us on the program via telephone, was Tasha Thatcher and her 12 year old son Hayden. Much of the discussion was about the educational programming of the Nevada and California Diabetes Associations. The various Diabetes Camping Programs is a game changer for children with Diabetes.
Also calling in was John Bauman, a strong national advocate for saving Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. John first gained fame as “Bowzer” in the American rock and roll group Sha Na Na. His core message was to exercise your vote. His thesis was “Save it and Make it Work!”
