Hey Conscious Runners! I’ve got another fantastic episode for you. Today, I’ve got Winston Fisher on the mic with me. I met Winston about a month ago when I interviewed him for The Conscious Runner Podcast. Over the past two years I’ve conducted dozens of interviews and have never come across someone like Winston. It is interesting because when I’m interviewing a guest, I’m not only listening to what they’re saying, I’m also thinking of the next question to ask, so I never get the full effect of the conversation until I play it back in the editing process. And when I listened to it again, I was blown away. There were so many nuggets of conscious wisdom in this episode, not only for running, but for life. Recently, Winston completed 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days. I completely enjoyed my chat with Winston and know you will too.

What We Talk About

  • Doing things that scare you
  • How to train for 7 Marathons in 7 Days on 7 Continents
  • Dealing with the monotony of 183 miles in one week
  • Making friends with pain
  • being comfortable with being uncomfortable
  • Having a relationship with the different feelings in your body
  • Having fun
