Sunday is the final day for Licence Free Family Fishing. Why not take the family to Glen Haffy Conservation Area on Airport Road, for a day of fishing for rainbow trout, and a family picnic!
Kevin Callan is the Happy Camper. Kevin is an expert canoeist and wilderness camper. He’s on the water, canoeing solo as he fishes for bass and makes his way to the Kawartha Lakes. Why is he going solo? Angelo will find out.
Justin Punchard is a Conservation Officer with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. He joins Angelo with news about the North American
Wildlife Enforcement Officers Association conference in Sault Ste Marie. Poaching can be big business involving bank fraud and shoot outs for enforcement officers trying to protect critically endangered species. Angelo and Justin will discuss the agenda, and the experts who will be making presentations at the conference.
Fishing with a guide pays off! Tyler Dunn is a guide in the Algoma Region and he fishes by boat, kayak, or wading the streams for salmon and steelhead. Tyler will join Angelo to talk about his services, which include guided trips to Lake Nipigon.
On the Go Fish in Ontario segment, Angelo will be joined by Robert Lindsey from Onaman River Resort on Lake Nipigon. This resort offers trophy fishing for lake trout and brook trout in one of the most remote areas of Ontario. Angelo wants to know more about the floating cabin on Lake Nipigon.
