The reflection was delivered on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Doug Henderson, Congregant. REFLECTION DESCRIPTION What does it take for our beliefs to change? Sometimes, something cataclysmic. For Doug, it was attending Higher Dimensions. For me, it was moving to Oklahoma. What has allowed your thinking to evolve? Who or what has made it safe for you to grow and are you ready to offer that to others? As Doug says, “I have very deep evangelical roots. Almost fundamentalist roots. For anyone to walk away, to turn their back on those sort of roots is not something human beings do. And, it was not something I expected to do, or wanted to do, or foresaw in anyway.”  Doug will share insights from his personal and spiritual journey–from fundamentalism to worshipping, joining and photographing us here at All Souls. Come hear how this merging of hearts and cultures has changed us both.
