From a young age, Katy Osborn has had a keen interest in human behavior and creativity. For the last 13 years, Katy has merged these interests as a brand and marketing strategist, copywriter, and project manager. She started in corporate advertising before launching her own boutique creative agency, Amelia Street Studio, with her two sisters. Three years ago, Katy found true purpose for her two passions when she and her sisters started filming their own documentary Head to Head. It traces the path of hair as it goes from women in India, who sacrifice their hair for the gods, to the young women in America who receive it.

The documentary-producer role has been the most fulfilling for Katy. She is able to dive deep into the human mindset and identity. Then every day has a new creative problem to solve and partnership to build. Watching people connect their own personal experience with the women suffering hair loss is extremely rewarding.

You can follow Katy on her journey through Instagram at @headtoheaddoc and Facebook at @headtoheaddocumentary.
