Manage episode 234128289 series 2493469
1964 was the year that Rock’n’Roll decided it was here to stay, at least in America’s cinemas. It was a year that represented a real turning point for movie musicals, with enduring classics of both the old style and the new style making their premieres, as well as a great number of notable others from a variety of cinematic and musical approaches.
