We're creating our own 'What If' and 'Elseworlds' stories about our favorite comic book characters! These are basically just stories that we made up that we think would be awesome, but would probably never happen since they would change up characters and entire worlds too much. But hey, it's fiction. Anything can happen! We've got an interesting Superman story involving his permanent death as the world's greatest hero, and another about the idea of him never making it off of Krypton in the first place. We've also got some fun Spider-Man stories about the radioactive spider that bit him as well as the idea of him becoming a super villain. And, of course, we've got some fantastic and dark Batman stories that dive into his psyche and his ability to kill everyone if he wanted to! All this wouldn't be complete without a wonderful guest, so of course we're welcoming back one of our favorites, Mr. Sunday! He's the man behind the Mr. Sunday Movies YouTube channel and one of the hosts of the very...

Joe Matt was one of ‘The Toronto Three’ in the 90’s; he was a no-holds barred autobiographical cartoonist who, with his friends Chester Brown and Seth, ushered in the first wave of Drawn and Quarterly work. Matt drew attention for his sense of humor as well as exposing the depraved corners of his life, including porn addiction, excessive cheapness, and an increasingly destructive relationship with his girlfriend Trish. Kumar and Koom discuss The Poor Bastard and reflect about encountering Matt’s work, the interaction between real life and representation, and the connection between humor and depravity. At TCAF (Toronto Comic Arts Festival), Jimmy sat down with Robert Goodin to talk about his beautiful new graphic novel The Kurdles from Fantagraphics. When there is trouble, your favorite Big Ones will assemble! Ryan grabs his shield and calls forth a super team! Corwin and Viet from Earth's Mightiest Podcast return. Alex had a secret mission, so the three heroes review the biggest movie of the year. New heroes, villains without strings, and a likable Hawkeye, this movie has it all. Ryan creates a new meme, and Corwin adds an impressive theory to the upcoming Avengers flicks. We are dual releasing the episode on both EMX and BOP's feeds, so no need to DL more than one. Unless you want to see alternate covers and differences in editing styles (which we know you do). Avenge your earholes and assemble for fun! ***SPOILERS, DUH***

This is Bags of Action. The podcast is devoted to action movies, both old and new, but all of them awesome! In this episode, we do something different, both hosts went to the cinema and saw a modern movie, John Wick. Steve and Pete saw the 2015 film in different locations in the UK so they spend the whole of this episode trying to recall parts of the film while they discuss the plot. The film has a big cast of well known stars including Keanu Reeves, Bridget Moynahan, Willem Defoe, Adrienne Palicki, Daniel Bernhardt, Alfie Allen, Lance Reddick, Clarke Peters and the always brilliant Ian McShane, Lovejoy himself. There are lots of great little moments and small scenes from well known actors such as John Leguizamo and former WWE wrestler, Kevin Nash, which transform this film from what could have been a straight to DVD action film. The cast, the tight script and the remarkable action scenes make it a very interesting film to discuss. At the end of the episode we discuss the plans for a sequel...
