Are you feeling stuck in an unhappy, unhealthy relationship that seems like it’s never going to get better? Do you sometimes feel no matter how hard you try, you can never change? In this episode, I examine five ways in which you might be contributing to your own problems, and I offer some practical suggestions for how, with God’s help, you can move forward.
Biblical references I mention in this episode:
“Fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

(Isaiah 41:10)
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
and He will direct your paths.”

(Proverbs 3:5-6)
“When pride comes, then comes shame;
But with the humble is wisdom.”

(Proverb 11:2)
“God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
(James 4:6)
“If we confess our sins,
He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
(1 John 1:9)
“There is therefore now no condemnation
for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
(Romans 8:1)
“Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,
And in the hidden part
You will make me to know wisdom.”
(Psalm 51:6)
“Search me, God, and know my heart;
Put me to the test and know my anxious thoughts;
And see if there is any hurtful way in me,
And lead me in the everlasting way.”
(Psalm 139:23-24)
