Hanane's long story of pain and resilience started with her eye accident when she was nine. Her months of stay in the hospital and in the house waiting for better days made her realize that remaining strong and positive are the only choice she had left. They trained her mind to become positive no matter the circumstances. She also dealt with divorce. After spending eleven seemingly less meaningful years in the corporate world, she lost her job in the same week she lost her dad. That served as her aha moment. Instead of succumbing to the pitiful situation, she got up and did something about it. How she succeeded in battling her own circumstances made her dream to help other people as well. That's how she shifted from corporate to becoming a holistic life coach.
Highlights:

  • Life coaching - a type of coaching that tackles all aspects of the person's life in order to empower and help him/her succeed; it takes the notion that personal and professional struggles are always interconnected.
  • Steps to success: Know what you are passionate about; focus on what you can control; keep the right focus; choose the people you keep around you; take action.
  • Tips for the confused/unaware: Take time to pause and identify what you really want and love doing so you can redirect; it is hard to keep going without a proper direction.
  • TEA coaching principles:
  • Thought, Emotions, Action; one must keep himself in check for limiting beliefs, emotional blockages, and inaction.

Hanane believes that everything we need is within us. But we all have become too busy to understand even ourselves. We need to spend more time for introspection and reflection in order to find a better and more accurate perception of ourselves. Then we would learn what we really want, focus on what we can control, keep the right focus, choose positive people and act upon our passion.
