We have Therapist Jim Beebe with us today, and I'm sharing a bit about my struggle with the holiday season. I share a bit about my childhood experience with Christmas time and how it still affects me now.

I'm committed to thriving this holiday season! And I hope this episode and my conversation with Jim will encourage and help you thrive, too, no matter what circumstances you find yourself in this year.

Several tips he shared:

#1—There's no such thing as 'perfect,' and it's okay if you struggle.

#2—Expect the complicated family dynamics and drama that may come up.

#3—You have permission to set healthy boundaries for yourself.

#4- Be honest about your limitations- it's okay; they are not a sign of weakness but a sign of being human. And find a way to care for yourself.
