Crossing the line, knowing you did your best.

In other words, have you ever finished a race knowing you couldn’t possibly have gone any faster? Be honest. Ever crossed the finish line and nearly collapsed because you gave it all. Ever crossed the line not in a show off way, in a sincere honest state of exhaustion?

And if not, why not more often? Crossing the line and finish the race in your planned time, yes of course thats good and well… but knowing you could have done more.

It’s not a nice feeling…. The memory of the achieved result that is a nice feeling. But whilst you are in there. Whilst you are running your heart out and maybe even being passed by other… that moment in time nope its not that special… But he satisfaction of that memory, that moment where you know, that was it tank empty. Luke 1:37 - For nothing will be impossible with God.
