As a football athlete at his alma mater University of Wisconsin-Madison, He saw a lot of people snack on nuts to get protein. He always ate seeds since he can’t eat tree nuts, and while he’s not allergic to peanuts, he avoids them too. When he started to make the bars, seeds were on the top of mind.
